Research is an important activity of MDI aiming to promote sustainable development and to establish a transparent media landscape.
Vietnam Climate & Energy Journalism Network (or Media Climate Net), is an MDI initiative. The network serves as a reliable source of information on climate change, energy and the environment for journalists, policy makers and the general public.
The network includes more than 300 journalists from top media houses in Vietnam. The birth of the network was announced by Ms. Christiana Figueres, one of the founders of the Paris Agreement, in Hanoi on October 26, 2017.
We are research and consulting partners with international organizations such as Care International and the World Bank.
We have produced films and organizational videos for NGOs such as IUCN, Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung, UN, and major news outlets such as CNN, AFP and Al Jazeera.
We provided consultancy for the interface development of the National Public Service Portal, the State Budget Portal, as well as the development of Vietnam Businesses for Environment website.
