In 2019, 03 courses in Hanoi were organized with the sponsorship of the French Media Development Agency (CFI). In March 2020, MDI officially became a partner of WAN IFRA World Press Association.

Research is an important activity of MDI aiming to promote sustainable development and to establish a transparent media landscape.

Vietnam Climate & Energy Journalism Network (or Media Climate Net), is an MDI initiative. The network serves as a reliable source of information on climate change, energy and the environment for journalists, policy makers and the general public.

The network includes more than 300 journalists from top media houses in Vietnam. The birth of the network was announced by Ms. Christiana Figueres, one of the founders of the Paris Agreement, in Hanoi on October 26, 2017.

TECHNOLOGY & CREATIVITY

Kienhoc is an initiative supported by MDI to increase public knowledge, by providing free online multidisciplinary courses from renowned universities around the world.
