On March 31, in Hanoi, the international seminar “Vietnamese and international experiences on investigative journalism” took place with the co-organization of the Academy of Journalism and Propaganda, Vietnam Journalists Association and Center for Communication and Development Initiative, with funding from the Danish Embassy (photo).
This is the first in-depth international seminar on investigative journalism and role-playing operations conducted in Vietnam, in the context that Vietnamese journalists are facing the pressure and dangers to write investigative articles to to light many things of public interest.
“The press has always played an important role in the development of any society. This workshop is the start of a more sustainable cooperation between Vietnam and Denmark in the field of journalism and media development, as well as contributing to the development of investigative journalism skills in Vietnam … ”- Ambassador Danish John Nielsen says.
The workshop with similar themes will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on February 2.4.
